SOLVED Can't get "Step Play" to work

X1b with latest quick fix

Help and Sonar X1 Power say Ctrl+Left arrow (or right arrow) should step playback forward (backward)
But it just expands/contracts the display (as it always used to)
Also, there seems to be no "EDIT>PLAY" as also described in the help and X1 Power.

Anyone try this?

Thanks,
Fred

Are you in step entry mode?

John-This is to audition playback not data entry

Duh It's only available in the STAFF view
:The Staff view has two features that let you audition your composition at reduced speed: Scrub and Step Play. The Scrub tool lets you drag a vertical bar over the staff, playing the notes as it goes. You can scrub backward or forward at any speed. Step Play lets you step through the project note by note, in either direction.
