Are you trying this on a real project? I get the same grayed out OMF export if trying to export the default normal project with nothing in it, but if I record something, or try to export another existing project with audio, then it's fine.

    Cheers, Peter.

No - this is a real project - not a hugely complicated project, but a real one. Only about 8 tracks.

i assume the tracks are selected, yes?

A rack of noisemakers is not a definitive substitute for creativity. (though it does seem to help)

Yes, they're selected - I did a Select-All and verified that they are all selected, as well as trying to just select one.
    The OMF export remains disabled.

Did you select omf as a type of file support available within SONAR at installation. It's one of the very first windows that comes up in the installer.

You have to select things about SONAR as far as being able to import / export playlists, projects from pre SONAR1.3 projects, and omf etc.

The OMF export just became enabled late last night.
I have no idea what I did to enable it.
At first I thought it was the fact that most of the tracks were instrument tracks and they were not frozen, so I froze them and OMF was still not enabled.
After it started working, I tested by unfreezing all the instrument tracks again. But the OMF is remaining enabled (working).
So, I don't know what I did to make it work.

But although It's working now (exporting OMF and then importing into Pro Tools), now I have to figure out why a particular track that is reading -13 and sounding great in X1 is clipping at 0 in Pro Tools. It is a synth lead that has a lot of harmonics, but...
