Vocoder plug-in for Sonar 64 bit?
I'm looking for a vocoder plugin for Sonar 64 bit. The Pentagon keeps crashing in Sonar 8.5 64 bit. Does anyone have any suggestion of a vocoder that might work in 64 bit?

Try running SONAR as Administrator... that may help with the Pentagon problem... it fixed my problem. hope that helps... Giannis I'm looking for a vocoder plugin for Sonar 64 bit. TAL (Togu Audio Line) has a 64 bit version of their Vocoder. I haven't had a chance to try it out yet.

I've used Orange Vocoder from Prosonic for some years now - in fact just used it on a track on our new CD (soon to be released) I have tried others but prefer this. I also used NI The Mouth as a vocal effect on the CD - not quite a Vocoder in the traditional sense, but sounded really good. Only thing, I'm not 100% sure if this is still available as Prosonic said some time ago they were stopping Windows development. Nigel

I just checked their website and it would appear this is Mac only now - a real shame Nigel

Thanks for the tips. I will try TAL's vocoder - Pentagon keeps crashing it seems ( at least when I unload it...)

Also check out Sonnivox's Vocalizer....it's a whole lot more than a vocalizer. Just the other day, I was messing around with it and on a looped drum track, I "spoke some words to the beat". Inserted the Vocalizer on the vocal track and played my keyboard.....made it sound like I was singing. Very cool effect/synth. It also does very good pads (all you need is some noise (any noise) coming in from your mic). You can throw any sound into it and make something musical out of it.

I saw it, but there's no demo. Does it work well with Sonar 64 bit?

I'm on 32 bit, but I believe it works on 64. I think Yorolpal has this on his 64bit sys and he's the one that recommended it in the software forum. Just shoot him a PM and see if it's 64bit.... That's too bad they don't have a demo....I too like to test out things first, but this was an impulse buy and I'm pleased with it.
