How do I change the order of Sends
I have looked all through the documentation and tried several keystrokes and for the life of me can't find how to change the order of the sends in Console View. Has anyone done this? Thanks Tom

I don't know what you mean? You can change where the send goes. That is the same right?

John I don't know what you mean? You can change where the send goes. That is the same right? What I mean is the sequence of the sends that sit in the sends module of the Console View. Right now I have two sends in my vocal channel, one to a Delay bus and the other to a Reverb bus. I want the Delay to impact the sound first, then the reverb. Currently the reverb is #1 send and Delay send is #2. How do I reverse this? I hope that helps you to understand. Thanks, Tom

Switch the FX? Or route the delay bus into the reverb, rather than using sequential sends.

In track View toggle to sends, then click+drag on either the left or right side on the header & move the buss up/ down. the changes will be there when you go back in to Console view.

AT Switch the FX? Or route the delay bus into the reverb, rather than using sequential sends. This seems to be the solution, routing the delay bus to the reverb bus. But I still think that there should be a way to order the Sends in the Sends Module, just like I can order the FX in the FX module. Tom

But the Sends don't return a signal to the track. The order doesn't matter. The signal goes out all of the SENDS at the same time - and never comes back to that track. So they can't act in any order. The SENDS are simultaneous across all sends on a single track. If you want the delay to have reverb on it you can either SEND to a bus with a delay and then use a SEND from that bus to a reverb bus - or just put a reverb in the effects bin of the Delay bus. Or put the delay and reverb in the effects bin of the track and use the dry/wet control as desired. There are lots of ways to do what you want but not ordering SENDS from the track you are applying the effects to. HTH Don

The effects module within a track is different, as it runs the effects in series.

Yea, Tom, the easiest thing to do (to make it serial) is to insert the delay into the track FX. That should put it on the track, which is then sent to the reverb. That should work, as long as you don't have anything else that needs that delay. @

Thanks for all of the answers. I know what I am going to do now. I am going to route the Delay buss to a Reverb buss. Tom

That'll work but remember that anything you route to the Delay buss will also go to the reverb buss.
