Track Templates!

Don't know if there are many old Project5 users here in the Sonar forums, but I just noticed last night that X1 has Track Templates that can be setup for synths with drag and drop capability.  It seems like it's pretty much the same concept as P5's Device Chains.  This is a nice surprise as I've missed that functionality to be able to setup a synth sound with effects, etc. and save it for easy recall as a "preset".  And now I'm suspicious that Sonar 8 and 8.5 may have had the Track Templates and I just never noticed it before.    Oh well, I'm learning something about this X1 beast everyday!

Yep, Track Templates were available in previous versions, but you couldn't drag and drop them like you can now in X1.

    Scott,
It was because of your book, btw, that I found the track templates.  Worth every penny I spent on it!

Thanks, Karl! I appreciate it. I'm glad to hear the book is helping you find new features you hadn't known about before. There is definitely a lot of hidden power in SONAR.
