The microphone is the same. The one from unique squared includes a spider shock mount, a pop filter, and a bigger desk stand.

Personally I would not recommend a USB microphone. they are difficult to get to work correctly, usually have to be used in MME driver mode and usually have to be used in conjunction with your onboard soundcard which usually causes clock rate mismatch. I have microphone and soundcard recommendations on my website.

Kasop, your best bet (and money) is to buy a music interface that has the converters and preamps built in. In the US, you can find good ones for $100. That will let you both record good sound and hear it with low latency. Although the 2020 is a good first mic, a built-in USB convertor won't let you record line level signals or guitars - just the mic. And it will do nothing for monitoring. Even if you have to buy a cheaper mic the interface is worth it, in my opinion. @

no worries about your English - I can understand you. no, I do not think that is a good microphone. I think you should buy separate soundcard and microphone. click on the link in my website and I have soundcard and microphone recommendations.

Kasop, When you get close to the microphone, a pop filter is very useful. This is usually the case for rock and pop vocals. If you can put the microphone on a piece of heavy furniture using the desktop stand, you may not need a shock mount. The shock mount helps suppress vibrations and noise that propagate through the floor and the stand to the microphone. As beagle pointed out, a USB mic is not ideal for music recording. You want to listen to what you are recording while you are recording (monitoring). It looks like the microphone you wnat to buy is only an audio input device. This means that another device (soundcard) has to be used for playback. It may work. But I would expect significant latency, i.e. you would hear you own voice through your headphones with a noticeable delay. Shure makes USB microphones that have a direct monitoring path and an audio output for headphones built into the microphone. I really don't know how good these are. http://www.shure.com/idc/groups/tech_pubs/@global_managed/documents/webcontent/us_pro_pg42-usb_ug.pdf Alternatively, you should get an audio interface and the microphone with the standard analog output. Shure SM58 will work for recording, but it is best for use as a live mic. LDC is best for recording. the Audio Technica AT-2020 NON USB is a good choice but as I explained in my email, if you get the m-audio 2496, you will also need a preamp or a small mixer. or you can get a USB soundcard like the m-audio fast track MKII and it has a preamp built into it.

As Beagle has mentioned, do not buy a USB mic. They are more trouble than they are worth when it comes to recording ANYTHING with them. Buy a nice audio interface. The M-Audio audiophile 2496 is good but it is a PCI internal card only. Many interfaces are available now as USB interfaces. They have more features that are handy, such as Phantom power for the better quality condenser mics. I don't believe the M-Audio audiophile 2496 has phantom power on it. Simple audio only interface HERE Audio & Midi Interface HERE Gauge Mics click on products. mic includes pop filter and shock mount. The ECM-84 condenser mic, coupled with the M-audio interface should work well to get you started with a solid platform to work from.

That sounds like a good combo to get started. Both are good. Desktop stand? For the mic. Just about any brand would work, I would think. With Popfilter you need one. For here at home I bought a noname brand which works well. It was cheap, too. Shockmount. it has to work with your mic. There are generic ones which should work or not. You'd need to research that to make sure it will. @
