Groove Agent 3 Anyone still use this - anyone know what Steinberg are doing with it??

Hi
It was Twigman's recent thread re VSTi Drum packages that reminded me I actually still had this product! So I went to Sonar,  loaded Groove Agent 3 and played with it (for a short while until it crashed!!!!!).
This is such a frustrating product - so nearly so very good, but it's faults in my opinion, make it practically unusable.
Does anyone use this and if yes, any tips?
Also does anyone wkno what Steinberg might be planning to do with this? I went to their website to check  -whilst I of course could not log onto my account as this part of the website waas down!!!! I found that the latest update to Groove Agent was 3.0.2.14 in Feb 2008.
Now I can't believe even Steinberg think this product is so good it needs no more development, so it would seem to point to Steinberg dropping this like they have so many other products (their bass and guitar virtual instruments come to mind).
Which in itself raises  interesting questions for the likes of me who have invested heavily in a product - I started with Groove Agent 1 and paid to upgrade twice (2+3) in the hiope of getting a product that worked properly! Still does not work and now looks doomed!!!!
I could say the same re TC and Powercore - I have three Powercore hardware items plus purchased software - now they have stopped development and support (I assume) so soon this will just be another museum item. I am NOT happy about this I can tell you.

Perhaps the moral is:-
Buy a nice musical instrument and not only can you use it until you die, it will very probably increase in value.

It could have been worse. You could've bought a Lemur.

    Ah yes The Lemur.
This has made me think of other software etc which I have purchased but will soon be useless.Perhaps we should start a list!
My ones to start with (not near my DAW so when I am shall see if there are any more)
    1) POWERCORE - I expect you can see I'm not happy about this and am still sulking!
    2) Prosonic - I have Orange Vocoder and Dynasone - I don't use Dynasone at all now but still use Orange Vocoder regularly (in fact just used it on our new CD which we are just finishing)
    3) Sonivox Muse - I actually saw this still for sale on AudioMidi for US$396 even though Sonivox deleted it a couple of years ago and do not support it

I'm sure there are others, but these will do to start with!
