LE or VS-100 software

Hi, I have the VS100 with the bundled software which is fine, however I have also got a BR800 with LE software, now the LE looks better to me, which is actually the better of the 2 ?

    does it say which version is on the disk label itself..

    is the br800 an older unit ? if so the vs100 maybe a newer version
