What A Week

In the last week:
I finished university.  3 LONG years of nightschool after a full day's REAL work.  My brain hurts, and i'm trying to remember what a life is.  Unfortunately, I don't know if I still want to work in this field.

I turn 37 today.  If I get out of work early enough, there's a dinner planned for me.  My wife gave me an Ebow and a tie clip and i'm a little unsure what that says about me... haha

I signed up for a sailing course.  I have no idea why, but have developed a fascination that equals my guitar-lust...

Now that I have my time freed up again, i'm really hoping I can start mixing that album that I finished recording IN DECEMBER! (rough mix of one song is all i've got so far).  Start playing shows with friends... wow, life could get exciting again.

To add more of a musical side to this, I just tried the Ebow on my acoustic guitar.  Sounded good, but a little bland.  If you use a slide on the frets though, it sounds like an organic Theremin!  THAT'S pretty wild, and definately going into the bag of tricks!!!

SV, thanks - i know you  just finished a major education milestone, but I can't remember if i congratulated you on it (cheers!).

Thanks Janes, i'm sure I will.  My only fear is the hit my wallet will take (it's not usually a sport for the poor...).  I've been offered a weekly sail in lake ontario once my qualification gets higher than 'anchor'.
