Does ANYONE have X1 and the latest version of Sound Toys Native working well?????
The latest version from Sound Toys, which is supposed to be a fix so they will run in Sonar 64bit under Bit Bridge, does...sort of...kinda...nearly...almost. They won't run at all under the latest JBridge. What happens for me is that I can instantiate them fine in the FX bin and pop up the gui and search for a preset...BUT...if I linger the mouse cursor for more than a second or two in one place in a menu I get the spinning little wheel and a "not responding" error in the control bar. I can usually still pick a preset and the Sound Toys gui sort of "snaps out of it" and continues to work. Sometimes also, when I'm turning knobs or flipping switches on the ST gui I'll get the same sort of "I might blow up at any second" kind of graphic stutter. And, of course, I get the occasional full blown "the program is not responding" CTD. Since this latest update from ST was supposed to fix these sorts of issues, does ANYONE here have their native Sound Toys (or any of the single plugs) working fine under XS1 64bit?????

So adrian4u, you don't have GUI flutter and "not responding" error messages popping up when you're selecting or tweaking Sound Toys presets?? Do they work rock solid like your other VST plugs?? JBridge won't work for me at all. BitBridge works...but veeeeery sketchy. And I do have the latest version of Sound Toys Native. PS: To Maurice: Yea I have the "free" Devil Lock" and it too is pretty cool. But couldn't make myself spring for the update due to the "non-64bit" stupidity.

yorol... I have Echoboy working like a charm.. older version, X1b x64, just doesn't respond to automation. It seems that de-olbitbridge is finicky based upon hardware. Jim

Dern. I want my Sound Toys back!! I had them and used them for about 6 months before I went 64bit. In 32 bit they worked flawlessly...and wonderfully. But I haven't been able to use them "fail free" since moving to 64 bit.

Well, I have found a way to work with them and I'll pass it on to anyone who's having the same kind of difficulties I am. Just don't use presets. The plugs seem stable as long as you're not perusing and choosing presets. So just load up the default and tweak. That's working here...more or less.

@ Yorolpal - In small project I started few ays ago I use filterfreak. And - as I remember - there was "empty" green screen instead of showing the filters work. I made "jBridging" to 64bit, and now it works OK. Waves works very OK. Antares AVOX suite (prcisely - Antares Harmony Engine) causes adio dropouts when moving harmony voices faders. KORG VST plugin-editor for Korg microX synth - works weird - it "steales" microX MIDI IN port (I have to leave it inactive in preferences, so microX can't send any MIDI notes), and doesn't work as it should - as a wrapper with MID Thru. There's no option to change it. Only CUBASE does the thing - works with KORG plugin without any problems.

Another anomaly I have is that once I've instantiated a ST plugin on a track and tweaked it a bit and then closed the gui and gone to another track to work...when I come back to the ST track and reopen the gui it's blank. And, so far, the only way to get the gui back is close and reopen the project. The effect is still working... but the gui is blank. Sheesh. Got an email from Sound Toys saying they are aware of the problem and have a fix in the works. Also that now that the new iLoks are out they should be porting to 64bit soon. We'll see.
