Geist/Maschine?

Hi all,

I recently watched some videos on Geist, and I remember looking at both it and maschine briefly a while ago and they didn't seem that interesting. But I guess it has clicked over the last few days and it looks like an immensely useful and powerful beat production tool! 

Geist goes for $250 and Maschine for a lot more... besides the hardware controller can anyone with any experience comment on the differences (besides the hardware controller) and VST hosting which I know was recently added to Maschine.

    Geist is pretty awesome, I bought it a while back... Its nearly its own DAW, functionality wise its pretty crazy.

    Do you have any specific questions?
