Midi input selection in Build 245/246

Just wondering if anyone is having problems selecting midi inputs after installing the new quickfixes? I installed the first two over X1b and when I go to select my alesis io2 as a midi input for any softsynth, it puts a check mark in the 'none' box...I have to go further down the list and select the first option in the 'preset' rollout which then puts a check in the io2's 'omni' box...does that make sense?

First time posting, hope I'm not in the wrong place or anything...
