Sonar Console View - is always a bit shorter regardless of how I save it
Hi guys, This is probably a stupid question - but I've had Sonar split across 2 monitors for years, teh console view on one and track view on the other. For some reason, whenever opening a project, the console view is always a half inch shorter than how I saved it, leaving about a half inch of unused space at the top and I can't see the very bottom of the console view (the track number) as a result. I've had this issue forever (it's not new with X1). Any idea of what I'm doing wrong here? Also noteworthy to mention, I'm running a Mackie Universal Conrol. I'm running X1b 64 on Win 7 64. Thanks! Russ

I have exactly the same problem. It didn't happen with Sonar 6. But now, I have to expand the CV every time I open a project. Tom

i have the same problem. i open a project and the CV is short vertically, so i drag it up. ok. now i switch to another screenset, then go back to the first one, or close and open the proj, it's back to being short.

Locking and/or saving the screenset does not work - I experience the same problem. I suggest the previous posters check out multi-monitor utilities like Ultramon or Multimon.

Same here. Very annoying problem. It has to be a bug. Personally, I'm not impressed with the new screensets implementation at all in X1. I had less problems with saved views bound to hotkeys back in the earlier versions.

Lunatique ...Personally, I'm not impressed with the new screensets implementation at all in X1. I had less problems with saved views bound to hotkeys back in the earlier versions. +1 - The previous views were very configurable and faster, and more reliable than the much-touted new screensets which are exactly the same thing only with a new name and slower, less flexible implementation. It's such a relief to open 8.5 and have instant reaction to the views I want, easily dragging borders on the fly as needed. And, apropos to the thread topic, the Console in previous Sonars always opened exactly as I left it. RB

Ok - thanks for all the responses. Since it clearly isn't just me (whew!), I'll goahead and place a support / potential bug ticket on it.
