EZ Drummer and X1 Producer

Hi,
I've been using EZ Drummer with Sonar 7 XL HS without any problems.  Now that I have X1 Producer I'm not able to use EZ Drummer.  I've gone to the cakewalk plug-in manager and scanned my VST plug-ins and can see EZ Drummer on the scan list.  However, I still can't get to the program (it's not on any of the lists in plug-in manager).  With HS 7 I'd get to EZ Drummer by going to insert, then soft synths, then to vst-plugins.  With X1, I don't have the vst-plugins option.

With 7 XL HS I used 32 bit but am using 64 bits with X1.  Would this cause the problem?

I'd sure appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks,
Mike

Download and install the 64 bit version of EZdrummer.  Add a path to the 64 bit version in the X1 VST scanner.

Try opening the VST manager and press "reset all" press "options" if you don't see the "reset all" and then "scan VST's" ..see if that works it does for waves VST's

    Hi Jonny,
I tried this but it didn't work.  Thanks for the suggestion, though!

Thanks Dave.  I'll give this a try and let you know.

    Hi,
With HS 7 I'd get to EZ Drummer by going to insert, then soft synths, then to vst-plugins.  With X1, I don't have the vst-plugins option.

You should.  In X1, you can still insert a soft-synth the old way, by dropping down the insert menu and choosing "soft-synth."  The browser is an added convenience (and a great feature) but you don't have to use it.
