Muted track prefade send export bug

Hi guys. I was trying to bounce a track using VST drums and recorded guitars/bass with amp sims, my usual set up. I've never had problems before. I thought the issue was my new plugins but I've found the source as a new routing method I'm using.

Old setup:

Guitar DI track with amp sims in the FX bin, OR a clone of the track with the original muted.

New setup:

Guitar DI track muted, with Bus Sends PREFADE. Amp sims on the busses so I can close 'tracks' in the console and work just in the busses.

I found sometimes when opening my project, only the drums would play the first time I pressed play. I'd have to stop and start again to get the guitars to work.
They would not bounce or export nomatter what source I choose. Unmuting the tracks and just setting them to no output fixed the issue.

The problem:
Any busses that are sourced from a PREFADE SEND on a muted track/bus, will not appear in export despite being audible in playback.

Sure it's easy to work around and just disable the output instead of muting, but surely this should work if it works when mixing.
