Basic Editing Question

Hello
I've just started using Sonar LE for very basic recording,I play my stuff rough starts & finishes, after I have edited to burn or import, the finished cd  or file is the original recording before editing.Obviously I'm missing something but just repeating the same actions.I "save as"  & "save changes"etc

Hmmm, I find myself giving the same advice twice in a row, but you need to go to File>Export and write out the mixed-down version to a new WAV file.

When you save a project, you are just saving the project's "instructions", the audio is being pulled from the audio on your disk already.  So you have to run the mix-down which is what exporting does.

    Glad to help.
We all start at the beginning and sometimes it really helps just to ask (plus there are a lot of great people on this forum).
