Track Manager graphic weirdness

Hi all,
I've had a weird thing happen in 8.5 PE.  I used to be able to close tracks in the console view and have them visible in the track view.  For some reason, they are now bound-close a track in one and it closes in the other.  Does anyone know why this is happening?  I'm sure it's some idiocy on my part but I can't seem to get this sorted out.  Thanks for the help!!!

    By close, do you mean hide?

    Try opening your track manager (Press M to open it). Make sure that "Keep track/console visibility states in sync" is not checked.
