Accident with the tool HUD

In the PRV at one point I had the "erase" tool as the current tool. I middle clicked to get the HUD. I was looking for a different tool, so I clicked and held one of the other tools to get the drop-down. No, that didn't have the tool I wanted, so instead of clicking on one of the drop-down choices, and with the HUD still up, I clicked on a different tool icon. The HUD was dismissed, and the note that was directly under the mouse when I clicked the tool icon got erased. The erase tool was still selected, too.

The same accident can happen with the split tool, but is somewhat limited by whatever snap constraint applies.

Unless you didn't even notice doing it. But I guess that could be said for alot of things...

Very wise and helpful, as always, John.
Right to the point, A1MixMan. And it's likely not to be noticed at first because the HUD obscures the accident.
