audiosnap

I can't get audiosnap to enable on a track I did everything that I read and saw on a tutorial and it will not enable at all please help maybe I'm missing something

    Did you select the audio and then select audio-snap?
    Will the Audio Snap Engine even show up?
    Did you hit the power button on the audio snap engine?

    Swtich the edit filter to transients and hit "A".

    I found that it doesn't work on groove clips, when I disable the clip as a groove clip it works that way, does anyone know if this how it is suppose to work I didn't read this or see this in the tutorial

    Yes, that's the way it's supposed to work.  It's been that way for all the versions.  They might have overlooked mentioning it because it's been that way so long.

    Ok thank, I never used it saw a tutorial on slicing for it to make kits for session drummer and wanted to give it a try, working it out now thanks

    Oh yeah, a Groove Clip is already "manipulated" (tho still somewhat editable) and therefore...er... ineligible for Audiosnap manipulation.
