Why yes of course - I'd say the going rate should be 20 - 40%

I've lived in farm country far too long.

My first thought was that 'forum tipping' was something along the lines of cow-tipping or outhouse-tipping.

Great sport, all of it, unless you happen to encounter the management... or have something big and heavy land on you.*

    Carry on.

*I have been fortunate to have avoided either fate

When it comes to cow tipping, I've always found it more enjoyable when would-be cow tippers attempt to expand their exploits to bull tipping.  The sport seems to change at that point to idiot goring.  The tension really mounts when you watch a handful of inebriated Mensa members attempt to climb over/through/under a barbed wire fence in a hurry closely pursued by the dark spectre of Death riding on 2500 lbs. of thundering beef.

It's Nature's way of saying, "The planet really doesn't need you."

it doesn't take 2500 pounds of thundering beef to tell me that.

I'm very glad I'm not smart enough to be in Mensa  ... my best friend and I learned at age 13 or 14 that throwing rocks at a bull from inside the pen wasn't smart.

I also learned that I really could make it over a 10' fence in record time.

Ah, the education to be had out there...

I find that 2500 pounds of thundering beef is useful for emphasis when bold text isn't working.

It also adds a certain victorious smugness to the act of eating pot roast.

There is a bit of satisfaction that comes from ruling from the top of the food chain.  It can transform one's perspective to look at the incredible diversity of nature, the beauty and complexity of the animal kingdom, the richness of life on this wonderfully amazing planet and think, "That would be really good with some bar b' que sauce and some cheese".
