Does this happen with all 32 bit plugins or is it tied to individual plugins?  It could be a rogue plug in so looking for a pattern would help troubleshooting.

    Intel i7 3770K @4.4GHz, 32GB RAM, 240GB SSD System disk, 2 x 2TB and 1 x 1TB (with SSD Cache) HDD. Windows 10,  Sonar Platinum. Roland Quad Capture.

There are just certain plug-ins that don't work well with Bit Bridge. It's a good idea to take the plunge and purchase jBridge (it's cheap and the developer is good with updates...try the demo). In my experience, Drumagog, the Korg Legacy series and even Tru Pianos would crash quite regularly with Bit Bridge. Since switching them to jBridge I have no issues.

Just incidentally, TruePianos should be native x64.

It is, but every now and then I click on the 32 bit version, only because I'm to lazy to better organize my plug-in menus!

so far I've not had any problems with bitbridge and have not had to consider j-bridge.  but I don't use drumagog, korg legacy.  I have some 3rd party plugins like t-racks, ozone and several others and I use kontakt for most of my synth work, but I've never had a problem with bitbridge crashing on me.

however, I have wondered and forgive the hijack of the thread, what about the bitbridge settings and how do I know which are best for my system?  it always defaults to #1 (I can't remember what it is exactly), but how do I know taht's the best setting?

Im having that same issue with Steinberg Hypersonic 2. And sometimes with the JBridge it will crash.

Pay me or the chicken gets it!
