She doesn't have the voice she used to, but it's still nice. A friend just set up the patches for her guitarist prior to starting her tour for the new album.

I agree,reminds me of some Beatles lyrics and more recently U2........guess it doesn't need to make sense to sell or maybe it is what you want it to be. Or only a select few know what it means and I'm not one of those.

Reminds me of an interview I heard with Ric Ocasek who admitted that sometimes he would just find cools words in his thesaurus and use 'em... LOL!
Still, not as bad as some of Bush's lyrics - for example:

I met Ms. Nicks in her father Jess's office back in the 80's. He was a concert promoter in Phoenix, Az. Going by her appearance and manner, it's a miracle she is still alive today. Come to think of it, the same could be said about myself.

I haven't heard the new album, but going on personal experience and seeing her in interviews over the years, let's just say I don't think we are going to see Stevie heading into any Mensa meetings. Nothing wrong with being a little different though. She's written some great songs through the years that I like, but I have no idea what the hell she's singin about. Randy

I believe the substance abuse definitely contributed to her lack of vocal range but, as for her lyrics, she's always done her best when she's super-emotional about something (the same could be said for a few others, like Anne Wilson from Heart for example).

Not a fan. I saw her live in the early 80's,it was possibly the worst live vocal performance, by a professional, that I've ever heard. No way to excuse it , just bad all around.
