X1 and Jamstix 3x- need help plz...

I guess Ive lost my mind again ; )

Use to, I load in Jamstix into Sonar, Load a kit, create a song, hit the record button and the meternome starts up, jamstix go thru its intro and plays the song as I have laid out with the midi notes on the midi track.


Running Windows 7, 32 bit....

Now when I load Jamstix3 (latest beta vst) into X1 (with latest patches) , I load a kit, use the wizard to create a song, pick a drummer, enable the record buttons on the midi/audio track and then hit record, and jamstix does not start up and run, and I have no meternome running, and I get a blank midi track with Jamstix 3 still sitting at 1-1 when I stop... Clicking indiviually on the drum heads in JS I have drum sounds ok... The host just wont run Jamstix when I click on record...

What in the world am I doing wrong?

Yes the Transport for Sonar moves just fine... I just cant seem to get Jamstix to run once I hit the record button...

No. The lock/unlock from host song position is in the locked state in Jamstix.

I also just tried BFD, and although I did trigger the verses and fills with a keyboard (versus jamstix doing its own thing), it recorded and played back ok... I cant for the life of me figure out what I did to cause this....

Ok according to Ralph (after looking at the log) He says that there is no time info received by JS from Sonar X1 (32bit with all latest patches).
 
 I have "the main JS man" looking into it. ; )

Anyone else seen this please chime in (with any fixes if you might have them)...

I love Sonar Chuck... Just hate the bugs... And I will try and relook at all the routes and switches... Im pretty sure this issue is on my end. I have either turned somthing off that should be on, or system mechanic has  ; )... testing 1,2,3....
 
edited: Also noticed Sonar 8.5 is acting the same way with Jamstix.... Somethings fubar here...

Ive decided (after a reinstall of Sonar which didnt help) to format. One of the reasons for even running a PC for me was Jamstix and Sonar.

Ill keep you posted... Yes, I know its alot of work, but the gremlins are stubborn and pesky. No telling what else I may find later...

Update....

After reformating and installing Windows7 with all its patches, X1 with all its patches, and Jamstix 3 with all its patches..., it all seems to work now.

There is something to staying off those Britney Spears websites after all...



Oh, and tell Strati-poo I didn't blame it on X1's history this time....(snickers while ducking thrown things)
