Cover..........Michelle Branch & Santana

This is another one of my live recordings.
"Game of Love"        Can anyone tell me what that annoying frequency is
at the beginning of the song ?

Thanks for your time to listen.........

wow, you really get a great sound out of live recordings!  I'm very impressed!  a few notes:

the main vox (which are awesome, BTW) get a little buried sometimes and the level on them is not consistent.  the lead guitar is a little too hot in the mix as is the ride (which seems to me like it's on the wrong side of the stereo?).  other than the ride which is a tad bright and hot in the mix, the rest of the drums are a little dull.  I'd like to hear a little more attack on the kick.

this is a great cover!  and it is absolutely fantastic work for a live recording!  really!  I am VERY impressed with your live recording skills!

I don't know what the 'annoying frequency" is at the beginning.  I can't really tell.

Beagle.....Thanks for your comment on my work, I love doing live recordings.
I work as a live sound engineeer and started offering live recordings.   I have been posting
some of my work on here to see how my live mix's sound on other systems, but I can tell most people here don't really like cover's, oh well  I'm still going to post'em .

Every bit of the feed back I get will help...........:)

Id go see you guys live.  Let me know if you get to Phoenix.  I think Beagle had some good points.  I am a HUGE fan of female vocalists.  I've been fortunate to work with three form this forum.  I'd say this is a difficult job to get a live performance sounding this good without huge dollars.  Well, I couldn't.  Kudos to all, oh and  Michelle.  Let me know if you're ever dying to do a collab.  :-)   Man, you guys must tear it up on stage!  Great job Scoobie

Thanks for the comment Warren.........The Tribe, I'm sure want be making it to Phoenix. LOL
But this band stay's booked up around here. Their mostly a coverband for hire. I don't play in the band, I'm just a live sound engineer that works for them.   I'm learning what sounds great live,
don't always sound good recorded !    I'm doing my best to get there .
Far as recording these live shows I use a Alesis HD24,  for the money you can't go wrong.
it really does a killer job !
