Help - Softsynth with multiple outputs disengages audio engine

I've got a rather frustrating problem with Home Studio 7 XL and I have no idea why it's happening. Can anyone help?

First off, here's a bit about my computer:

OS: Vista Home premium 32 bit
Processor: 2.53 Ghz Intel Core Duo
RAM: 3Gb
Audio Interface: M-audio fast track ultra (USB)

Okay, now for my problem. If I try inserting a soft-synth with multiple outputs, the audio engine stops running whenever I try using more than one output. Here are some screenshots to explain:

First, opening the soft-synth:

The audio engine stopping:

Removing the "Inputs" for all the TTS output tracks except one resolves the problem:

This happens for both the TTS-1 and Miroslav Philharmonik. Neither can run with more than one output. What I am trying to achieve ultimately is running multiple MIDI tracks through one soft-synth, then treating them differently with effects/processing using the different outputs. Am I going about this the right way?

If anyone needs more information about my pc or the problem I would more than happily oblige.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Mark.

    Hi Mark,

This is a known issue in HS7. Have you applied the patch for HS 7 XL?- available here

Thanks very much Gary. That seems to have sorted it. I'll post back if anything else goes awry.

I'm surprised Cakewalk don't include some sort of auto-update feature to fix bugs like this...
