How do I change velocity on a selected group of MIDI notes?

So, I am in PRV mode and I can use the Select Tool to grab every kick drum note via clicking on the keyboard key to the left. Good, this is what I want; every kick drum note selected. However, I absolutely can not figure out how to change the velocities of all of the notes at once. I can right click on the first note, but it only changes that note. No other notes. I am just doing demos, so I am not going for any "realism" here, but some of the kicks are at 35, some at 100, and some at 120 and it sounds... well, not right. I would like to set them all at around 110, just to be consistent and I really don't want to go note-by-note to do it.

I've wondered that myself. I usually go into the Event List view and change any out-of-range velocities there. It takes a little time, but it's quicker that going note to note in the staff view or PRV.

I see I can paint a pattern velocity, but I'm not really sure what that even means, as I do not understand the Pattern Brush Tool at all... even after reading about it.

Also, for me, Event List View is way harder since I am just learning about MIDI. I mean I can see that the B 2 note is the kick drum, but it is just the same, to me, as Piano Roll if I have to click note by note.

Finally... I found this is another post:

"Another option you have, and the way I would do it, is in the Piano Roll View. In the PRV window you'll have either a piano roll or the names of the drums. If you click on the piano key/drum name it will select all the drum sounds on that note.

    The go to Process>Midi Fx>Cakewalk FX>Velocity"
