was looking at many docking stations for my laptop.i wanted one made by the manufacterer(toshiba)but i didnt want to pay the 199.99 for it.
a quick look on craigs list and bam!!!...60.00 bucks installed mint.
really getting used to this.much easier to spread cake stuff around.

must be sweet chuck, i'm sure you'll really grow to like it a lot.
i'm not complaining, ok maybe a little, but i'm using an old square screen video monitor. the entire compressor section of the pro channel has to be scrolled down to be seen. all of life's troubles should be like this.
    enjoy your new view.

oh man matt.  I'm hating that for ya!

Charlie - I have mismatched monitors myself.  I do wish they were matched, but I'm not about to replace either of them any time soon.  I have 1 22" 1680x1050 and 1 24" 1920x1080.  however, the 1680x1050 is a much better monitor and the black is truly black and the colors are much more defined than the 1080 monitor.  the 24" 1080 monitor is a "cheap" monitor and while the specs looked fairly good, they still weren't as good as the specs on the 22" monitor.  I thought there wouldn't be a lot of difference but there really is.

my 24" is an AOC model 2436 - I think I paid $140 delivered for it.
my 22" is a Samsung 2233BW - I paid $220 for it but that was about 2 years ago I think and prices have come down some since then.

matt..omg,that is funny..i used to do that..trust me i started on old crv's..then when i upgraded to my laptop it blew my old computer away by 2 times as much ram and 5 times as much memory space.

hey beagle...the aoc for 140..wow thats a bargin..im using two 20 inch h.p.s2031's both idetical..i like the first one so i waited for the same sale and got the other one..99 each one..so for 2,20inch screens brand new and the dock im in 260 for dual vision.i cant tell you how nice it is to leave a plug in open so i can adjust as i go..i could use triple if i unclude my laptop screen..its also running in extend mode, but i chose the double vision..someday i go get a 24 inch..that must be awsome....
