Compressor/Gate Vst Gone

Ok i don't know what happened but when i go into cakewalk and go under Process/Audio Fx/ Cakewalk i do not see the Compressor/Gate effect... i use to have it but not its gone.. i uninstalled cakewalk and reinstalled but its still not there.. how can i load it back into cakewalk? thanks.

    You're probably running 64-bit Windows. Some of those older effects won't work under 64-bit Windows.

    i dont think that is the reason why because i use to have it for a very long time and now all of the sudden it disappeared on me and i dont see it in cakewalk...

    It might be time to call Cakewalk Support.
    Have you searched the disk?

    how could i search the disk? but is there a way i can search for the plugin in cakewalk some how.and try and load it back into cakewalk?

    Put the disk in the drive. You may then get an options pop-up and one of them may be 'Explore Disk'.
    If not, go to Windows Explorer, navigate to the DVD drive and open the disk.
