Sonar 7 PE - Option to Insert>ReWire Device is grayed out - RESOLVED

Hey all,

Pretty much as the title describes. I re-installed Sonar, but it doesn't seem to be seeing my Reason 4 anymore... Any ideas on how I might be able to remedy this? 64-bit version running on W7 (64-bit)

Thanks!

rewire doesn't work on 64bit.  propellerheads has no plans to update it for 64bit. use 32bit sonar 7 and you can use rewire.

Oh poop! That's so annoying - why didn't I see this?! I can see why they wouldn't. It's so stupidly rock-solid stable as it is, I don't see how 64-bit would offer much benefit.

Thanks for your quick response. Saved me a lot of digging around and frustration - I think I was under the impression that I can use 32-bit plug-ins and that ReWire would work happily enough too...

Just spotted a thread that answered my question about running both 32 and 64-bit versions on the same OS. That's not so bad :)

    Thanks again!
