Can't hear Demo Track(s)

Hi Everyone,
I've installed Guitar Tracks software that came along with the V-Studio 20, and I can't seem to get sound out on my computer to listen to the Demo track(s) provided (I'm just following along in the instruction booklet).   I don't have any headphones at the moment so I'm wondering if my Audio Settings might be wrong?    I've got Playback Device set to "VS-20 Out" and  Recording Device set to "VS-20 In".  I know this seems like a basic question I should be able to answer myself, but I need help.  Everything looks good with respect to driver installation, etc.  Just can't get the sound out.   Is this just a matter of getting headphones?  Thanks.
