Audio Interface

I am having to purchase a new audio interface.  I am currently using Sonar Producer 6.  I want more than two XLR inputs so I am looking at the MOTU 896mk23 and the Roland Octa-Capture (UA-1010).  Does anybody here have any experience with either of these two?  If so, I would love some advice before making the purchase.

    Sorry. typo.  I meant the MOTU 896mk3.
