Control + F?

In the Groove3 Sonar X1 Explained video tutorial (Chapter 3, Track Controls), "Show only selected tracks" keyboard shortcut is Control + F.

Doesn't seem to work for me...can anyone else confirm this?

Thanks.

PS: "Hide selected tracks" which is "Control + H" works, though

I've had this problem with CTRL-F since my initial X1 install.  I was working with support and they sent me a fresh copy of the 'SONAR Default Key Assignments.kbn' file that I reloaded and the problem persisted.  The next suggestion was to uninstall all versions of SONAR and clean the registry of their associated entries.  This seemed a bit heavy handed and I haven't been in the mood to uninstall what took me hours and hours to get working only to start over again.  So, right now, I don't use that key command.

Vicsant, any luck since you first posted?

    Michael,

Nope. Still no luck with Control F....I tried to restore the function through the key bindings preferences, but the function is not listed...

Maybe Scott Garrigus can help us out?

And I would definitely not uninstall and install Sonar X1, just to get Control F back....besides, there's no guarantee that THIS will solve the problem.

Go into your keybindings and see if the default binding has been overwritten with something else.

Ctrl+F doesn't work on my system either.  However, I created my own work-around which is:
()  Select the track or tracks you want to view.
()  Right click on one of the selections which should bring up a drop down list.
()  Then choose "Show Selected Tracks" from the drop down list.

For me the problem with all of this is spending too much time thinking the problem was with something on my system instead of the other way around.  The assumption was was my fault but still... Oh well, at least I learned something new so I don't regret the time spent.

Ctrl+F is "unassigned" in Preferences Keyboard Shortcuts.

Funny thing is, so is Ctrl+H, yet it does hide the tracks.  Figure that one out!

    The Keyboard Shortcuts lists:

    Hide tracks not in selection
    Hide tracks not in selection
Unhide all tracks and buses, no zoom

None of these are assigned and there is no Show Tracks option in the list.

    Very strange!
