voxengo redunoise on bus track makes midi tracks lag
is there a way to fix that ? can we freeze these tracks with that gourmand effect?

According to the description ( here), it's a very high-latency plugin. You would be better off bouncing.

PsychatoR ok i found how to bounce. but still, do we lose audio quality? can i bounce like we want without losing quality? If your project audio setting is 32-bit, then there should be no problem with quality of bounced tracks or audio exports.

im only 16 bit. sound blaster live value! maybe record all trackes in new track with "what you hear" input? maybe less loss quality?

PsychatoR im only 16 bit. sound blaster live value! maybe record all trackes in new track with "what you hear" input? maybe less loss quality? You can still set the Render Bit Depth to 32 and Record Bit Depth to 24, regardless of the output driver setting. Options>Global>Audio Data

no, sonar uses 32bit and 64bit recording engine. basically you record at the highest bit rate you can (16bit in your case, 24bit for best results) and sonar converts it to 32bit or 64bit for mixing. it gives you "headroom" to work with.

ok so that means .. bouncing record to 32 bit. but if i record all tracks in a new track from "WhatYouHear" input. is it still 32 bits or 16? tx for answering .

I'm not understanding your question. I think you need to not worry about the comments about 32bit. you have a 16bit soundcard, sonar's engine will use 32bit or 64bit depending on your settings for internal engine. just bounce your tracks or freeze them to eliminate the latency introduced from the plugin. no need to worry about external exporting or anything. just freeze the track - if you need to adjust the plugin after you've frozen, just unfreeze, adjust as necessary, then refreeze. your audio integrity will not be compromised.

16 bit verses 32bit or 24bit or whatever bit conversion doesn't have anything to do with the "loudness." the bit depth of the digital signal converted from audio is simply how many digital bits you are using for the same input. it's resolution, not loudness. if you input a signal that's -6dB to your soundcard and if your soundcard is capable of recording at 16bit or 24bit, then it still records a -6dB signal for either choice. but the 24bit digital signal chops that -6dB signal up into more pieces than 16bit does. loudness is controlled by the gain (slider) of the soundcard, the hardware gain and if you're recording a source that's already recorded (like re-recording something that was streaming from the internet) then that's already compressed. compression/limiting changes the "loudness" you perceive because it increases the overall sound.
