Trim Silence from the End of a Song

I accidentally inserted a piece of audio way after the end of a song and went about for a while without realizing it. I did notice that my bottom slider was always way over to the left even when I was at what I thought was the end of the song.

Later, I displayed the navigator and spotted the errant clip. Now, even though I deleted the clip and all envelope nodes that occurred past the correct end of my song, it still refuses to acknowledge the new ending. I end up with an audio bounce that is over 15-minutes long (4-minute song).

Is there a way to trim out or force Sonar to end a song at a particular location? Or a way to troubleshoot for more errant data?

BTW Sonar 7 Producer on Windows 7.

this has been a problem with sonar.  in X1 there's a new parameter which helps, but when this happens in S7, I don't know how to "fix" it except transfer everything to a new project.

often envelopes will also cause this because envelopes create data beyond where you think the last data really is.

For your audio bounce, just make sure you only select the relevant bit of the song in the timeline.

You don't HAVE to bounce EVERYTHING
