MME wont work

i have music creator 5. i started recording on an old school mic plugged in to my computer. i have no MIDI. no sound card. everything was fine, but when i tried to fix the latency on the audio, but when i switched to ASIO on accident, i tried to switch back to MME, which is now not working. sound on my computer is fine, but no sound is playing on my recordings. the individual tracks show that they are playing, but over all sound meter shows nothing. please help.

you need to explain what you mean by "not working" for MME.  if you switch back to MME what happens?  remember we can't see your screen so give us as many details as you can.

well the song is playing, the sound meer for the tracks on the side shows its playing, but not the master sound meter. i also opened up a previous song i had recorded and its playing fine, so now i know that its only this song thats just no sound is coming out.

check your routing..sometimes by switching drivers it routes the master differently..so check the master..look at its out put.it should be set to what you had it before.

Set the driver back to MME then close MC5 and restart it. see if that helps.

then it's not the MME driver setting!  If you can play ANY project then the drivers are being accessed by MC.  if you can't play something in ONE project then as the other guys have said - it's your routing in your project.  check your outputs of the project and make sure they're set to the soundcard (preferably only the MASTER BUS is set to the soundcard and all other buses and tracks are set to the MASTER).
