Is There Some Special Way To Delete Orphan Automation Envelopes???

My Sonar X1b Build 244 does not delete a VST FX plugin's automation envelope after I delete the plugin.

It creates something called an "orphan" envelope with no parameter and I do not know how to select the orphan envelope to delete it.

Is there some way to delete orphan envelopes that I am missing?

Try Track View, double click the track to select all, then cut/ automation.

No luck. There is no "cut" dialog for the track, only the clip -- and for the clip it's greyed out.

I can "delete" automation for the clip, but of course that's not very useful since I'm trying to get rid of orphan track automation envelopes.

Ok, I found a very very strange bug but it's easily reproducible.

If I CLONE the track, it does get rid of the orphan automation envelopes.

An orphaned envelope is merely one that is no longer assigned to anything. To delete it, right-click on it and select "delete envelope".

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

if you're using the smart tool, shift+clicking the envelope will select the track in automation view and can then delete it using bits method
