RME Hammerfall 9632 and Sonar (anybody out there with experience)

Hi Guys,

I just bought an RME 9632 to go into my Sonar rig. Should be here in a few days. Anybody out there with experience using one?

Which driver mode do you use?
Any configuration settings that are key?
How does it perform for you?
Are there any pitfalls of which I should be aware?

Thanks,

George

Download/install the latest driver from the RME website.
    Use ASIO driver mode

    Works great...

I have had the 9652, which is just the 9632 with ad-on card, since around 2003. Never had a moments problems. That card has survived 3 or 4 PCs, incl a powersupply/motherboard blowup. As long as you stay on the most current firmware and drivers, it will be your best pal for life. ASIO, always.

    I use a 9632 in W7x64 and X1b64

I use the 3.085 driver in ASIO mode with the XLR breakout cable to KRK Rokit6 monitors - it works beautifully.

    You'll love it!
You will have to master the RME interface, not in front of it right now to advise...
There are some settings that need to be made if I remember right; set and forget.
