For a PIII yes, but wait awhile and the P4s will come down in price (or will they?)

Makes me want to retrieve my old AMD-K6 system from whatever lost dimension it's in... say a prayer, and put it right back.

We can laugh now, but the Pentium was a major breakthrough in its day. I think many of us are old enough to have seen personal computers advance from the horse drawn days to the current crop of multi-core machines. I am personally amazed. The one thing we can count on is that whatever machine you have will be obsolescent much quicker than the P1 was in its time.
