Is there any way to identify an envelope without switching to it?

<sigh>...

I won't get into it... but is there a way that I'm not finding? It used to display the envelope's name with a simple mouse-over.... Now???

I've had the same & other envelope issues. I love a lot of things about X1, but the envelope situation is not one of them. "The turn of this millenium is the era of the new improved worser's." This means, since we can not improve something to re-market it, lets just change it to make it appear different even if it means comprimise" The envelope situation falls in that category.

No, unfortunately not. The only quick way is to Shift+click the envelope and then Shift+click the clip to get back to clip editing. Although, if you know the name of the envelope you're looking for... you can choose it from the Edit Filter control in the HUD to find it and then shift back to clip editing. This isn't a real solution or workaround though. It would definitely be nicer to be able to mouseover even when in Clips mode.
