Was fine...until quickfix 246

OK, curiosity got the best of me and I installed the quick fix 246. That's when the problems started. Ive been trying to work through this for a few days and I had finally resorted to uninstalling/ Reinstalling X1 fresh, and now when I start the program, all I'm getting is "SONARPDR.exe has stopped working" right after the splash and GUI show up. Funny thing is my sonar 8.5 is working fine.
any Ideas? Tech support is closed until Monday :(

    sounds like it could be a regestry error..i can be wrong so dont freak out..wait to hear from some others but in the meantime heres some reading.
    ps..wouldnt hurt to run a regestry cleaner..just back it up first.

    I went through the registry after a subsequent uninstall of X1 and removed the two references to X1. I have reinstalled and all seems well so far. I haven't yet worked my way back to X1b though, but it's a good thing I still have all of the downloaded updates!! X1a took hours to download.
