Yes. While the track is in Audio Transients mode and with the Smart tool chosen, click on the background of the clip to select it.

You can then use any of the Process menu tools that allow you to move a clip, such as Slide, Nudge, etc. And you can also enter a new Start time for the clip in the Inspector under the Clips tab.

Thanks scott! But i guess that there is something i am not understanding or i just found another bug because i cant click on the background of the clip. I just see the transient tool (yes i have chosen the smart tool) but i can only control transients but none of the clip properties.
    Thanks in advance!

Yep, you should see the transient tool (ie. Smart tool in Audio Transients mode). Move it away from the transients in the clip and click somewhere on the background of the clip. You should see a white outline around the clip, which means it is selected. Then you can use the other functions I mentioned to move the clip.

Thanks, scott. I´m doing exactly what you say but no, i can only operate on transients no the clip. What i can do is nudge it with the keyboards so "problem solved" but i can do nothing with the smart tool is the track is in transient mode.
    Thanks anyway!!!!!!!!!!!
    keep up the good work!

    No problem... glad to help.

But... I never said you could move it with the Smart tool. If you read my first response, I said you use the Smart tool to select the clip and then use the functions in the Process menu (or use the Inspector) to move the clip.
