U.S. shock rocker Alice Cooper paid tribute Monday to a legendary Canadian record producer, the late Jack Richardson.
About 40 years ago, Alice Cooper was a “band of androgynous weird-looking guys” — to use manager Shep Gordon’s phrase. Frontman Alice Cooper and his band were determined to make Richardson, who had hits with the Guess Who, their producer.
After Richardson, a longtime Londoner and former Fanshawe College instructor, died Friday, Cooper and Gordon added their tributes to others such as ex-Guess Who star Burton Cummings whose words have already appeared on lfpress.com and in The Free Press. Richardson was 81.

    I really loved the early Alice Cooper stuff.  RIP, Jack. 

    Should auld acquaintance be forgot--hey, who the hell are you guys?
