Good Free Drum VST (Electric Drum)

Does anybody know of a good free drum machine VST which I could use on sonar x1 studio? Thanks

i take it that you don't like session drummer 3...... i think that it's  very Underrated.

There's SD3 for one. Then there's RXP and SI Drum Kit.
You can also get some drum loops either free or for pay. Use them as Groove clips. I like those the best.
You can also use the Step Sequencer to create beats.

In X1 you already have Session Drummer 2, Dimension, Roland Groove Synth, RXP and they all have really good drum sounds (don't know if studio comes with Beatscape but it has lots of great sounds as well). SD2, RXP and Beatscape all have loops as well. Load the synths up and use the step sequencer to program beats. One idea is to watch the free videos from Cakewalk on drum production.

A really good free drum VST is Dr. Fusion from ODO Synths but you are already set with what's already in SONAR.

Sadly very reduced studio equipment as it is... ASUS G750J, 8 gb RAM, Win8, Roland Quad Capture.

we could tell you stuff all day but i think the best place to start is the help manual.its really a good help file compared to other daws.it will go into great detail on some of these questions where we are just giving the basic one or two line answer.
