Facebook
I've been inundated with Facebook congrats as it's my birthday today, so thanks to all those Sonar buddies who posted to my wall. All of which reminded me that I haven't been back here for far too long, which is a pity as this place has some wonderful people. I blame my wonderful new girlfriend of course, although she quite happily sits behind me 'producing' so I have no excuse for low musical output. My age has brought with it back pain over the last few months, and a whole bunch of chiropractor sessions. And that led me to join a gym here in Canary Wharf along with hundreds of other bankers and fund managers. I also quit my job last week and accepted a new one with much better prospects that will take me all over Europe, Asia and NY. Finally, I invested in one of these new SmartPhones (an HTC Android one). Its the first phone I've ever bought as I've always had a work blackberry. My son is teaching me how to download Talking Tom and something about irate avians. But hey, enough of my yackin'. This is sounding like one of those Round Robbin letters you get at christmas from relatives you don't really know. Promise I'll visit more...

Talking Tom is funny for a while but Angy Birds is addicting. Mike

Congrats on another Birthday. Plan your escape from Canary Wharf soon before it damages your soul. My fifteen years in the square mile did not do me any good. Have a great day,
Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain. Karma has a way of finding its own way home.

Severed, Worf was a half Klingon, half human security officer on the Enterprise as seen in the TV Documentary series, Star Trek, The Next Generation. He was, perhaps, best known for his complete and total lack of fighting skills whenever the Enterprise was boarded. (If you look back, almost every single alien that ever boarded the ship took him out with almost no effort. I expected more from him.) He's also known for his portrayal of Will Scarlett when the crew was abducted by Q and forced to play out a Robin Hood scenario. His line, "Captain, I protest! I am not a Merry Man!" was one of the best of the series. Looking back, I may have misinterpreted your question. Nevermind.
