2 quick questions in an admittedly lazy post

I confess to not searching like crazy in the help menu & forum, so feel free to chastise/ignore:

1. Is it possible to reduce the level of greying-out of the clips when envelopes are selected?   (of course, I do know that changing clip colors helps with this problem as has been discussed ad nauseum on the forum)

2. Is there a setting to get back the old behavior (I know, another one of these questions again) of being able to hover over an envelope and seeing what it is?  I DO like the shift-click to work on envelopes, but it would be nice to know what I am shift-clicking on.   BTW, this is not one of those pointed passive-aggressive posts complaining about X1 . . . . just hoping that maybe it is an option that i have overlooked.

Remove silence!
