Hilarious! I almost spit my beer out I was laughing so hard... got cheated out of the solo though. What's up with that?

It’s funny how context can change meaning. There was a troop of senior citizens covering classic rock standards recently and one of the tunes they covered was the Ramon’s Sedated, giving the song new meaning. I am assuming that these guys are referencing the Secure Border Initiative (i.e., the Great Wall of Mexico). Well, in any event, at least they are not naked. [edit] Come to think of it, Waters performed the Wall at Berlin Wall back in the 80's.

quantumeffect [edit] Come to think of it, Waters performed the Wall at Berlin Wall back in the 80's. Yeah, we got to hear Joni Mitchell butcher "Goodbye Blue Sky"... never thought that woman was even capable of butchering anything, but she succeeded with that one. She was in good company though... some band's music you shouldn't even attempt to cover... and IMO Pink Floyd's music is a prime example. Hard to pull off convincingly.

I am assuming that these guys are referencing the Secure Border Initiative (i.e., the Great Wall of Mexico). Missed that. What made you make that assumption? All I could see was a bunch of guys playing in a cafe.

[edit] Come to think of it, Waters performed the Wall at Berlin Wall back in the 80's. It was in 1990. Strange how with all the information available on the Internet, helped by search engines, people still can't be bothered to get facts right. But you're right on one thing, they weren't naked. Well spotted. EDIT: "Well spotted" - by that I mean "Congratulations! Excellent obversation, never saw that myself!" It's sarcasm.
