Posting Artist Name with Song Title

How can I apply my name to my songs? When ever I play my .wav song formats in Microsoft it only shows the song title and it says Artist Unknown.

    you need to convert them to .mp3 and use a tg editor like .mp3tag

    Export as Windows Media Streaming it will save as a wma file. I beleive Pyro will tag the tune for you. The machine I'm writing on doesn't have it.  I'll do a test and let you know. Playing the wma file using windows media player shows the tag..

    .WAV is purely a sound data file, it doesn't contain or support meta data (tags).  The "song title" you're seeing will simply be the file name.

    Many (most?All?) CD-burning programs nowadays allow inserting CD-text (Artist - Song Name), but not all CD-players support it. I don't remember what kinds of options there are, because I've nev er taken a serious look at the feature.
