open sonar 8.5 studio project in sonar x1 le starter kit?

Hi,

Just working on a project for my course, we're using sonar 8.5 studio edition but I wanted to work on it at home.  If I bought sonar x1 le starter kit would I be able to open a file that was created in 8.5?  It's only basic audio editing so I just need to chop up files and use volume and pan envelopes.

    Probably, but you should give Cakewalk customer service a call to find out for sure.
