Bluenoise Plugins Betatester

Hi guys.

My name is Bjarte and I am the creator of Bluenoise Plugins. I have released My Drumset beta version which probably many of you have tested, Mountain echo, Bandecho SE for Computer Music and now soon Bandecho. The reason I'm here at the forum is because I need 1-2 persons that uses Sonar to test my software and to create presets. I have a small betatesting team but I am about to expand and I need somebody that are devoted and has skills with the program, is an instrumentalist and knows how to work a plugin. We are now in the process of creating presets for this particullar plugin: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-9Fl4VqAB0

If you are interested you will of course get the full versions of the software, have your name on the thank-you-list and have the oppertunity to make your own fancy preset names.

Send you request to info(at)bluenoise.no within 5 days of this message.

Thanks

Bjarte

He's just covering all the bases, cactus. He posted the same message in the Reaper forum. Perhaps he just pasted the text and meant to substitute "SONAR" for "Reaper" here.

"My Drumset" does look like an interesting plugin, though. It appears to be a simple GM sample player (a little reminiscent of Session Drummer) and purports to be lightweight.

Listening to the sample MP3s, it does sound like it would do well on a vintage 60's or 70's sound. Very Ringo-ish. It got a positive review in SOS.

More info..."My Drumset" was apparently recently renamed "Drummix". The player is free, but he is now selling expansion kits for 20 bucks each, including a fancier version of the stock kit. He'll sell you all of them (7 now with 2 more on the way) for a hundred bucks. So at least he's got a pricing structure that's in tune with bedroom recordists. The kits are unprocessed, so they may be closer to DFH than Session Drummer (for those who've been banging fake drums long enough to remember DFH).

    Hi.
Sorry for the typo. Yes I was covering several forums and was a little quick in the pasting. My bad. Anyway, if your're interested send me an email.

Btw, drummix is not a simple GM sample player. It is extremly complex plugin that does the job much like EZdrummer and BFD. Though even the beta kicked both those asses in an anonym poll

Better than BFD? That's quite a boast, Bjarte! You've piqued my curiosity now. I'll have to give it a try.

BTW, no offense meant by "simple GM player". I just meant it supports GM mapping and isn't as complex as, say, Superior Drummer or some of the higher-end Kontakt-based libraries.

You have to wait for the finished version. The beta version that is downloadable now is just a basic thing to see if I could make it work. No tuned drums with cracked cymbals:-) Still, people like it for it's ruffness.

The demos sound good. Those were made with the beta version?
