Wow, he's really awesome. And the singer is perfect for this style. People who've never tried it have no idea that this is one of the highest forms of music. It takes true professionals to pull off a good bluegrass song... I'll check out the country version later.

Agree with Robby - the bluegrass version is superb.
The country one - some smoking guitar in that one! amazing you can get two such different versions from the same song! i want the trance version!

The bluegrass version with the fiddle sounds better. I think it matches the song better. Great song!

Hi Frank, that bluegrass version fits the vocals beautifully but than again that country version has some really hot pickin' on it. Good job either way.

Tend to agree with the other whilst the guitars on the country are excellent the bluegrass version swings it for me. I did enjoy them both but not entirely my thing, thanks for sharing. Edit: Hit send unintentionally whilst talking to my daughter on the rap rod.

The Blue Grass Version is just superb... This really kicks! And the country version is nice as well. The Blue Grass version is truer to character! Both must have been fun to do! Not crazy about the Electric Rhythm Guitar tone on the country version ( Just a tad too much distortion leaves it a little muddy sounding )

 . Hmmm...the tempo is about right. Maybe I could remix it- I wonder what a sidechained banjo would sound like. OK, seriously, though, both versions are excellent. At first, I thought I liked the bluegrass version, but the country version really grew on me. Great singing and playing all around and everything has its place in the mixes on both songs. Very fun tracks!

I would say that the drums could come up a smidge in the bluegrass version and maybe a little more kick in the country. I would say (if I had to) that the Bgrass version is more better. Just seems to fit better er sumpin..

I just listened to the country version, very nice pickin... The bluegrass flavor of that "sweet tea" is trying to come through even in the country version. Actually the fiddle could take less of a consistent sawing part in the background for the country version. Don't get me wrong, he's great? But the style that he's playing is more of a grass style, country fiddle is more about the fills and longer notes when it's not taking the spotlight. (IMO)

Liked both versions, I am a bigger fan of Country than Bluegrass but the vocal fits the BG version best. Excellent playing on both versions. Really like the guitar playing on the Country version.

on the merits of the productions i can't decide which is better...bot are good.
but i always lean toward bluegrass given the choice.

Wow and wow, Frank. I am blown away by both. Funny, but Robby already asked the question I was going to ask, and that's incredible that the same guy played fiddle and banjo. Dave Sconyers, eh? Wow. Your guy Hugh really had the vocals nailed too.
I'd be hard pressed to pick between those 2, as I'm a sucker for banjo, but the interplay between the guitar and the fiddle on the country version was just great. That was some fine pickin' you did there. Superb production evident on both. It's a draw for me!

Blue grass works quite well for me thankyou! The country feels copy and pasted from the Blue Grass and 'somehow' ... less emotional.
Totally awesome ... ridiculously corny and fun! Top-shelf for this genre.
